SheSpeaks: Navigating the Spectrum – A Co-Author’s Tale of Triumph over Autism

When I was invited to write a chapter in this book.  My book.  Our book.  I remember thinking would I be able to convey all that is my journey into this one chapter?  Will I be able to do myself justice and my angel boy justice?  Will I be able to share with you what rock bottom looked like to me, yet what the highest of highs looked like to me?

The answer to those questions is a resounding yes!  My chapter in this book has been a labor of love, chronicling my personal journey with autism and the transformative stories within. Each page is a testament to resilience, strength, and the power of the human spirit.

I have enjoyed this journey immensely.  Watching 14 other women dig deep and find the courage to share their story.  Share their trauma.  Share their triumph.

These women stand for everything that is love, strength, power, fulfillment, determination and so much more.

The stories in this book might make you laugh and I’m sure they’ll make you cry.  They will light a fire in your belly to ensure that we as women, are supporting other women.  We are the most resilient creatures I have ever seen.  We withstand pain that is insurmountable yet we survive and keep going.  We find strength in times where there is nothing left.  We, as women have a voice and I cannot wait for you to share in those stories with the #SheSpeaks book.
